Northern Based with frequent travel

 

A new and fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Territory Account Manager to join our Senior Sales Team selling to the Public Sector.  The successful candidate will be responsible for selling IT infrastructure solutions and associated services into new and existing customers, including Supply Chain, high margin product based solutions, Audio Visual solutions, Software solutions and services, lower complexity professional services projects, support and maintenance agreements. Target sub-verticals are Health, Police, Local Government, Central Government and Higher Education

 

Responsibilities:

·         Working in partnership with Internal Account Managers to protect and grow the contribution on an existing territory of ‘transactional’ accounts by broadening the portfolio of services and offerings Computacenter sell to clients

·         Working closely within a selected vertical and geography to define, differentiate, develop, lead and close high margin product, supply chain solutions and infrastructure service deals

·         Engaging with Sales Managers, Client Directors and Sales Specialists to identify, develop and close professional service projects and a range of technical solutions to the Public Sector market

·         Developing and enhancing new business and senior relationships

 

Skills Required:

·         Demonstrable experience in an ‘internal’ or ‘external’ Sales and Account Management role in the IT Market

·         Professional, organised, considered and commercially astute

·         Proven, successful track record

·         Experience of working with Sales Specialists, Technical Consultants and Project Manager to identify, develop and close ‘lower-complexity’ project based deals

·         An understanding of the Support Services market

·         Credible technology and services knowledge and can articulate this well whilst communicating effectively with the client up to IT Director level

·         The ability to develop new clients from a cold start

·         A highly pro-active individual, able to work with autonomy, multi-task and a high level of activity is a must

·         Bid management experience essential

·         The ability to manage the entire deal lifecycle from inception to delivery start and commercial close

·         The ability to adapt style to customer requirements

 

Education and Qualifications:

  • A Level minimum or equivalent
