An opportunity has arisen in Hatfield for a Bid Manager to manage and assist in high level bids and proposals for customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating response from contributors and assisting in the creation of the final document, ensuring appropriate standards are achieved and facilitating document production and measuring proposal success and supporting win/loss review functions.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Support Account Managers and Service Sales Specialists in the Bid process by Project Managing the Campaign and Bid Process

·         Assist in the creation of Bid solutions within the Bid response

·         Ensure Bid and Campaign milestones are realistic and adhered to

·         Coordinating Input from out of sector functions where required  e.g. call centre; service design; manufacturers H.R. Legal

·         Act as customer representative when reviewing bid submissions           

·         Assist Ops Director with sector activities such as events and reporting.

·         Work with account teams to understand customer requirements and support as appropriate

·         Manage Pipeline information and report as appropriate

·         Co-operate with other bid teams around the company for the effective re-use of superior bid material.

 

Skills Required:

·         Demonstrable experience in working on bids in the IT Services Market

·         Influencing and negotiation skills, confident and assertive

·         Self motivated and able to work under pressure

·         Self critical, with a view to always improve solutions and processes

·         Creative - Ability to articulate bid requirements to bid teams and establish win themes

·         Adaptable and flexible to work

·         Ability to multi task and work on several campaigns simultaneously

 

Skills Desired:

·         APMP Qualification
